Combat Fatigue

Feature Type: Script
Use: Automatic
Effect: Characters participating in ongoing melee or ranged combat have a chance to suffer from some negative effects due to the repetitive concussive forces involved. Ranged attacks are much less impactful than melee attacks for the purposes of this system.

For every 6 minute period of game time, the number of melee and ranged strikes are tallied and used to determine the tier of fatigue effect to apply.

Tier 1: DC 15 Fortitude Save
-The character suffers from -1 to attack rolls, becomes fatigued, and has a very small chance of spell failure.

Tier 2: DC 20 Fortitude Save
-The character suffers from -2 to attack rolls, becomes fatigued, and has a small chance of spell failure.

Tier 3: DC 25 Fortitude Save
-The character suffers from -2 to attack rolls, becomes fatigued, and has a significant chance of spell failure.
